    04 — Why Zipper

    Not built like everything else.

    No accounts

No emails to confirm, no passwords to forget. Drop the file, get the link, get on with your day.

    No theatrics

Five hundred megabytes is five hundred megabytes. We don't time you out, throttle you, or insist on "premium".

    No tracking

No third-party scripts. No ad pixels. We log what we need to keep the lights on, and not a byte more.

    05 — FAQ

    Quick answers, tersely written.

    What's the maximum file size?+

Five hundred megabytes per file, ten files at a time. If you need bigger, split the archive — or get in touch and we'll bump your tenant.

    What happens to my file?+

It is written to disk on a single, dedicated VM, with permissions that exclude every other user on the box. The file's name on disk is randomized — your filename is never used as a path.

    How long are files kept?+

Indefinitely, unless we say otherwise. We may prune very old uploads if storage gets tight; we'll post a notice here before that happens.

    Who can see my upload?+

Anyone you share the download link with — but only the operator of this server can list every upload. Treat this service as you would email: don't drop secrets in here.

    Is there an API?+

POST a multipart form to /api/upload with a field named files. The response is JSON. Rate-limited per IP.

    Why "Zipper"?+

Because it zips, and because the other names were taken. We considered "Compressr" briefly. We are sorry.
